Tom Farella is a fifth generation Californian, and his farming roots run deep - from his great grandparents farming 168 acres of raisin grapes south of Fresno in the late 1800s, to planting the first Bordeaux varietals in Coombsville in the late 1970s kind of deep. Tom has continued his family's work to this day with Farella Vineyards, which his father, Frank, founded in a small, 400 square foot winery next to his house in Napa. Tom has been producing Sauvignon Blanc from Farella's Coombsville estate for 33 years, and has stuck to his guns with his stylistic approach until this very day. His Sauvignon Blanc bears the name 'La Luce', and is an homage to his father, Frank Farella, and his Italian roots.
On Friday, September 8th from 4-7pm, Tom will be pouring current vintage and library vintage Farella Sauvignon Blanc, and Zuzu will be serving up their famous paella.
Entry is $30/person, and will include a glass of 2016 Farella Sauvignon Blanc and Paella. Tom will be sharing his library vintages, and additional glass pours can be purchased upon entry.
For this evening only, all Farella flights, bottles and cases will be offered at 10% off, and mixed cases of Outland wines will receive 15% off.
